When corporate pharma executive Yvan Francois decided to leave that world behind and launch Foldyt, he wasn’t interested in creating another fluorescent laundromat with broken vending machines and daytime television humming in the corner. The vision was something completely different: a state-of-the-art laundromat and laundry delivery service designed around experience, convenience, and personality.
VFC partnered with Foldyt to develop a lively identity system centered around an unlikely mascot… a towering pile of laundry transformed into a lovable monster with just enough chaos in its eyes to feel relatable after a busy week.

As Foldyt continues working with the Borough on approvals and buildout requirements, the business is preparing to open inside the impressively renovated former 7-11 property on Nutt Road in Phoenixville, right next to the hospital.
One of our favorite collaborations was developing some of the custom branded touches customers will actually remember, including Foldyt’s oversized purple laundry bags and scented sachet options designed to make the experience feel a little less like a chore and a little more like somebody actually cared. We really nailed the whole company ethos with the tagline, “You weren’t made to do laundry… we were.”
The result is shaping up to feel less like a laundromat and more like a modern neighborhood service brand with personality built into every detail.
