For the last three years, VFC has supported the Schuylkill River Passenger Rail Authority’s effort to reconnect Reading, Phoenixville, and Pottstown to passenger rail service through the Federal Railroad Administration’s Corridor Identification and Development Program (CIDP).

The challenge has never been simply sharing information. It has been building understanding and long-term public support across multiple communities, business interests, municipalities, and stakeholders… all while navigating the slow and highly technical realities of a federally guided infrastructure process.

VFC partnered with SRPRA to reorganize and rebuild the organization’s website while leading ongoing social media and communications support designed to keep the project visible, understandable, and community-focused.

Our role has been helping communicate the long-term opportunity, keep communities engaged, and maintain positive momentum while the process moves through the necessary federal stages.

As the project continues advancing through FRA review stages, the communications effort remains focused on transparency, engagement, and maintaining momentum around what could become one of the region’s most transformational transportation projects in decades.
