Your brand benefits when

VFC Writes.

At VFC, A.I. stands for

Authentically Inspired.

It’s the twenty-twenties, and technology offers an alternative to nearly everything now. And those alternatives—including commercial copywriting—improve with every forward tick of a digital clock’s non-existent second hand.

Artificially intelligent writing may be becoming more and more intelligent, but it will always be artificial. Your brand is real and your brand needs a veteran writing team that goes deeper than Deep Blue to understand objectives, research realities and craft messaging that resonates with potential targets. Not just seasoned, but marinated in absolutely every variety of writing known to modern man…VFC creatives love putting words to work.

Brand Voice

brand voice development

Client: Gen3

Brand Voice

The qualities we want targets to see in Gen3 in marketing can only come from a well-developed brand voice.

For Gen3 to reach the objectives of being seen, remembered, and respected, the brand voice needs to be defined (like the brand style guide) in a format that teams can digest and disseminate.

Gen3’s brand voice is how you will speak to the target audience in all instances, at all times, across all vehicles. Gen3’s brand voice and tone will use messaging that is clear, clever, and precise.

High value, low volume.

Brand Tone

Gen3’s business, new and ongoing, is based on relationships.
+
Primary or initial targets that are less technical decision makers or influencers.
=

Clients have complex marketing challenges
+
Gen3’s expertise is capturing and leveraging data to develop strategies
=
Educational

Understanding the brand’s offering and developing a personality that resonates. VFC goes deep when we collaboratively define a brand voice.

Client: PXVNeo

PXVNEO is the revolutionary wastewater treatment plant in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania.

Phoenixville is the first municipality in all of North America to use the hydrothermal carbonization process to treat the community’s wastewater. More than a wastewater treatment plant, PXVNEO is a resource recovery system.

PXVNEO’s first phase will see the Borough’s wastewater treatment transformed from anaerobic digestion to hydrothermal carbonization or HTC. HTC is superior to anaerobic digestion in several keys ways and the move to improve the Borough’s largest energy user into an eventual energy producer is revolutionary.

With a variety of breweries, BYOBs and culturally diverse restaurants representing Greek, Thai, Japanese, French Fusion, Italian, Mexican, Gastro-pub fare, Irish and American Contemporary Cuisine, you can try something new with each visit. And don’t miss our renowned coffee, cookies, ice cream, and the most magical chocolate shop in Pennsylvania—and that’s official!

SHOPPING
The Borough is home to many unique and wonderful boutiques. Clothing and accessories, handmade chocolates, records, furniture, and more are available in Phoenixville’s charming shops.

ENTERTAINMENT
On any given night, you can enjoy fresh, innovative cuisine and then stop at the community-owned Colonial Theatre. Supported by memberships as well as general admission, it screens films every night of the week, ranging from new releases to celebrated classics. Take in live music at Steel City Coffeehouse or The Soundbank, both of which have a steady rotation of musicians on their stages.

CULTURE
Still surrounded by the expansive farmland of Chester County, Phoenixville is classic through its setting and its character. Offering a traditional downtown, truly remarkable neighborhoods, and a timeless sense of community, Phoenixville has emerged from its industrial past and is now one of the most idyllic communities in our region.

HISTORY
Originally dubbed Manavon, Phoenixville was settled in 1732 and incorporated as a Borough in 1849. It was a manufacturing hub throughout the early twentieth century, and was home to iron and steel mills, silk and underwear factories, a match factory, and Etruscan majolica pottery. In fact, the first U.S. nail factory, French Creek Nail Works, was established here in 1790.

IT’S A BEAUTIFUL TOWN!
Placed along the Bridge Street corridor between Nutt Road and Starr Street, the Phoenixville Beautification Advisory Commission has partnered with Colonial Gardens Nursery to provide seasonal planters. Part of the multi-phased Streetscapes program, the planters add the perfect complement to the walkway aesthetic that has become a signature of the Bridge Street corridor. Drawing upon Phoenixville’s rich industrial heritage, the planters are made in the same molds originally used by local iron forges.

Public information requires a combination of discretion and boldness. VFC aims to stop traffic with original, arresting headlines and punchy copy.

Client: TMACC

The people who live and work in Chester County are some of the best people in the state, in the country, and on the planet, but they’re extremely unique.

From West Chester to Phoenixville, Tredyfrinn to Oxford, Parkesburg to Paoli—this County represents all “types” and we are proud of our diversity in multiple categories. One essential ingredient we all have in common, though—every one of us of every age, ability and proclivity—is the need to move. Mobility throughout the County, whether recreationally or for an essential commute, is as necessary as the air we breathe and only one organization represents everyone’s interests in that need.

The Transportation Management Association of Chester County is an advocate for commuters and a partner to the entities that facilitate inter-county travel. Simultaneous advocacy allows us to see the bigger picture—things the average driver on Route 202, peddler on the SRT, or SEPTA rider may not be thinking about or even aware of.

Because TMACC has our finger on the pulse of so many different change agents, organizations, departments, roads, trails, and systems—the entire commuting infrastructure really—we thought it would be really helpful to capture the state of it all in a magazine. More than a newsletter, ChesGo! is a quarterly publication that is digestible, sharable and, best of all, informative.

There are big initiatives we’ve pared down into understandable stories and smaller updates that may not have received the promotion they deserved… Most of all, ChesGo! is information for you, the commuter on the move!

From interviews and research to final publication, the editorial process is unique. VFC creatively works through iterations with subjects and clients.

Lewis Group Reorganizes Dynamic Leadership Team Environmental and Property Management Pros Prepare for Next Phase

August 11, 2022 — Royersford, PA — This year marked the 26th anniversary for Lewis Environmental– a remarkable milestone for the well-regarded company founded by visionary Thomas (Tom) Lewis, Sr. in 1996. In 2007 Richard (Rick) Lewis was named President and, since then, has successfully guided company operations and growth.

Now, with nearly 200 full-time team members, the Lewis Group has fully staffed and outfitted operation centers in several states, active work in dozens more and they are rapidly growing.

To accommodate that growth while maintaining focus on important existing customer relationships, the Lewis Group recently announced reorganization within the leadership structure that also retains all current Lewis Group executives.

“Our leadership team is staying intact while executive team restructuring will allow us to simultaneously focus on our core service offerings and long-term success,” said Rick Lewis, who will now helm the group as Chairman & Chief Executive Officer.

Carefully strategized over the last several months, a number of realities have contributed to the company’s reorganization plan including changes in the energy sector, labor constraints and current economic conditions. The revised executive structure will allow the Lewis Group to evaluate distinct opportunities like new markets and diversification while maintaining the highest quality standard to the company’s current commitments.

Although CEO Lewis will be shifting his focus, he will still be meaningfully engaged in all aspects of the Lewis Group. Dave Lindenmuth, who has served as the company Chief Operating Officer, assumed the role of President of Lewis Environmental effective July 6, 2022. Lindenmuth will oversee a dynamic industrial services portfolio with growing interests along the Eastern Seaboard and the Gulf Coast.

Longtime Lewis Environmental contributors Steve Pelna and Brandon Smith have each been promoted to Senior Vice President. Pelna will be responsible for the company’s Operations and Emergency Services while Smith will head up Business Development, Project Management, and Compliance.

Additionally, the Lewis Group announced the creation of a new role and the hiring of Richard Budka to serve as Chief Transformation Officer. In this hybrid position, Budka will administer finance, human resources, and technology for the Lewis Group.

Earlier this year the company announced the promotion of Don Simmons to President of Lewis Property Services. Simmons previously served as Vice President of Lewis Property Services, resulting in five successive years of positive growth for that division.

“These changes not only breathe fresh life and bring new ideas into all of our initiatives,” commented Lewis, “but the restructure provides opportunity for advancement at almost every level in the organization.”

In 2022, the Lewis Group, and the company’s three divisions– Lewis Environmental, Lewis Property Services and Lewis Development– renew their commitment to their core values of safety, quality, integrity and accountability that guide company decision making every day.

“We are humble and we are hungry for the next opportunity, adds Lewis, “Winning comes by doing things the right way and, as we continue to diversify our services and expand geographically, we know we do so because we have the best people in the business.”
