Fork & Ale
Situated on a trailhead for the Schuylkill River Trail, on the border of French Creek State Park, a new American craft beer, wine and food experience awaits foodies of discerning taste. The intimate atmosphere and outdoor patio of this unique gastropub make it the choice for dinning, drinking or gathering.
Conceptual presentations based on collaborative meetings with this start-up gastropub yielded a variety of approaches that boiled down to one compelling restaurant identity. The glyph for Fork & Ale’s new restaurant is memorable and fun, eliciting the sense of a well-regarded establishment supported by original typography and customized brand treatments.
The transformative effect of Fork & Ale’s remodeling of an old road house into a popular craft beer bar with excellent cuisine, required just the right touches of branding to the interior and exterior. The main sign was retrofitted onto existing natural poles but bespeaks the attitude of the establishment with cut, brushed metal, while the opposite wall creatively showcases positioning points in unique, 3M high-performance digital film.
A bold, but clean site with a responsive interface that’s big on features and accentuated by excellent branding delivers exactly what the consumer is looking for. Beer & wine lists, menus, and calendar events are easily managed from a secure back-end interface, ensuring the Fork & Ale Internet presence is always up-to-date and fresh.
